On November 17, 2017, Xu Hui, President of China Yaosheng Group, and Feng Hailong, CEO of Huijin Capital, together with Yang Wenqian, chairman of IUU Group , traveled to Tajikistan to conduct a field trip on the estimated $ 2 billion project in Tajikistan's Rogun hydropower station.
The designed capacity of Rogun Hydropower Station is 3.6 million kilowatts (6 units), with an annual generating capacity of 13.1 billion kilowatt hours. After construction, it will exceed the largest Nuleck hydropower station in Central Asia. According to the project manager of the Construction Department of Rogun Hydropower Station, the hydropower station has invested hundreds of millions of RMB funds by the governments of the former Soviet Union and the Tajikistan, but still requires a large amount of funds until it is completed and grid-connected. The Tajik government has sought to invest and cooperate with foreign funds in various ways all the time and does not rule out such ways as loans and joint ventures.
